Business Analyst

Role Introduction:

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for defining to-be processes aligned to best
practice, to deliver the most efficient and effective solutions, resolving complex problems and

projects.

You will work closely with the Transformation Process Lead to design and deliver best practice
processes and the end state system landscape ensuring high level requirements can be met. In
addition, you will ensure all requirements are configured and deployed into Salesforce, NetSuite

and other legacy systems to deliver the new to be designed processes.

You'll need to be a solution focused thought leader, agile in approach, full of initiative and have

excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.

What You Will Do:

  • Define and agree the Process Framework / Taxonomy for your process area.
  • Review the current state, gather requirements and generate solutions to address gaps
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to produce ‘to-be’ design deliverables
including user stories, clarifying business requirements and functional design.
  • Facilitate stakeholder review of deliverables, swiftly addressing concerns and resolving
issues.
  • Contribute to release planning sessions to support development of the product roadmap.
  • Working closely with the Transformation Process Lead and Business Owners to regularly
review initiative backlog by adding, prioritising, and/or removing.
  • Participate in daily agile meetings and coordinate with the business owners to review
progress.
  • Arrange show and tell sessions with end users to ensure they are aware of progress,
development is in line with their expectations and to increase familiarity of the new
system.
  • Support with end user testing by reviewing test plans, create test scenarios, and test
scripts.
  • Input into the development of comprehensive training documentation and support with the
delivery of end user training.
  • Create user profiles for all roles in scope of your process area.
  • Identify and agree internal and external process interfaces.
  • Produce high quality written documentation for all end deliverables.
  • Report to Transformation Process Lead.

What You Will Have:

  • 5 - 7 years deep understanding of integrated processes with functional areas, ideally in a
consulting environment.
  • Proven business transformation experience within large-scale programmes
  • Experience of order to cash process improvement initiatives, enhancing operational
efficiency and providing innovative solutions.
  • Awareness of industry trends and best practices within process area.
  • Process design experience: workshops, requirements gathering, process mapping.
  • Stakeholder management, including working with senior stakeholders and facilitating
decision making.
  • Experience of working with technical teams on build and testing.
  • Experience of working to support change management and delivering effective training.
  • Project management skills / experience.
  • Analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation), including the ability to
listen effectively.
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently, work and prioritise workload to tight
deadlines.
  • Team player with ability to work with related internal business functions.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and NetSuite
  • Proven finance implementation experience (e.g. order to cash, purchase to pay, record to

report), within complex large-scale programs.
