Brief Description of the Role:
Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for an initiative-taking individual to undertake the role of ward clerk on Ward 29 Bradford Royal Infirmary.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated ward clerk to work on the Elderly Care ward. The work is challenging and exciting but rewarding.
Main duties of the job
Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required:
Excellent communication and people skills in challenging circumstances
Ability to effectively time manage your workload
Ability to keep calm and work under pressure in a demanding area using teamwork
Be computer literate and familiar with the EPR system.
Good verbal communication skills.

Person specification
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience of using Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of EPR/ Medical terminology
- Experience of working in health service
- Previous experience in a secretarial / administrative role
- Knowledge / experience of PAS
Skills
Essential criteria- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
Qualifications
Essential criteria- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in English & Maths
- Good general education
- RSA II typing/Word processing or equivalent
