Finance Manager, £50,000 - £60,000 + potential for Hybrid Working (part-time will be considered)

The opportunity has arisen for a qualified Finance Manager to join to the FD in their Radstock office (South Bristol/near Bath) with hybrid working options and the scope to progress in coming years.

Physical printing aside, the business has an on-going investment in their digital technology and cyber security services and are constantly evolving to offer new and innovative communication services.
The Role
Reporting directly into the FD - the Group Accountant will head up the team of 7 finance staff and will be responsible for the completion of the limited company monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
Key Duties:
- Producing end-to-end management accounts, including analysis and detailed commentary to explain variances, budgeting and forecasting
- Business partnering with all departments including logistics, payroll, sales and production for both sites
- Management and Leadership of the department's staff, plus deputising for the FD from time to time
- Leading cross-business projects and initiatives as required
- Assisting with annual statutory accounts and statutory audits and preparing ONS returns
- Completion of working papers to support the annual tax computations
- Weekly flash reporting
- Process improvements and ad-hoc projects
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- ACA second time mover and audit backgrounds will be considered
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse large data sets is essential
- Experience using Sage is advantageous, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail required
- Part-time will be considered
- Strong technical/analytical ability
- £50,000 - £60,000 full time or part-time
