Hoddesdon - Maths Teacher
Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher eager to inspire students and develop their problem-solving skills? We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a team in Hoddesdon and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons. This role begins April 2025.
Maths Teacher duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons across different ability levels
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them improve
- Prepare students for examinations and ensure they reach their full potential
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to make learning accessible and enjoyable
- Support students with additional learning needs and challenge high achievers
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities
Ideal Maths Teacher:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
- Experience teaching maths at [Primary/Secondary] level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
- A passion for making maths engaging and accessible for all students
