As a Bank Band 3 Health Care Support Worker with Staffing Solutions, the internal bank team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath, you’ll deliver exceptional patient care while enjoying the freedom to choose shifts that suit you.

Salary: £13.80-£14.72 per hour (plus enhancements for unsocial hours)- weekly pay.

• Flexibility: Choose the shifts and locations that suit your lifestyle once you have completed your 288 hours of day shifts.
• Induction and training: Paid Trust induction, mandatory training and orientation shifts. Uniform provided.
• Great Pay: Competitive hourly rates, including enhancements for nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for dedicated, proactive and flexible individuals ready to deliver the best care.

Essential Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a healthcare setting, whether hospital-based or in the community.
• A caring, can-do attitude and strong communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in clinical tasks like vital signs observations, Blood Glucose Monitoring.
• Care Certificate.

Evidence of working with people

• Experience as a Health Care Support Worker
• Able to demonstrate genuine interest in caring for people.
• Experience of working with in a team.
• Experience of caring for people in hospital and other care settings
• Able to demonstrate commitment to the requirement of the bank role

• Experience working in a NHS hospital

Qualifications and training

• Able to demonstrate understanding of written English
• Have numerical and analytic skills
• Application form fully completed and of a high standard
• Strong supportive evidence

• Completed Care Certificate
• Has/ working towards NVQ or equivalent in Health and Social Care or any care qualification
