Huish Education Services - Part Time Catering Assistant based at Pyrland School
Huish Education Services are a subsidiary company of Richard Huish Trust and provide the catering services across the Trust schools.
We are currently seeking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and flexible Catering Assistant to join an existing team based at Pyrland School in Taunton
Experience of working to a high standard, excellent customer service skills and an ability to work flexibly are all essential for this role
Hours of work: 30 hours a week, term time only (39 weeks)- Working pattern: Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:00
- Actual Salary: £15,306 per annum -£11.44 per hour paid equally over 12 months
- Start date: asap
This role would include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals and beverages to students,
- Operate the till and serving all customers in a polite and courteous manner; assist with cashing up at the end of service if required
- Ensuring that the kitchen, service areas and dining hall are clean and tidy, assisting with waste removal, washing up, sweeping and mopping.
- Ensuring health and safety regulations and the company food hygiene procedures are always adhered to,
- Completing any administration as requested including food temperatures, wastage and cleaning schedules,
- Supporting schools within the trust when required
