• Manage and maintain the cost accounting system.
• Analyse cost variances and provide detailed reports to management.
• Perform inventory valuation and cost analysis.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Comply with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with the finance team to complete month-end and year-end close processes.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cost Accountant should have:

• A strong educational background in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
• High level of integrity and reliability.

• An estimated salary range of £58,500 to £65,000 GBP per annum.
