A highly reputable and expanding Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioural Management Tutor to join the staff of one of their thriving primary schools in Macclesfield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners, working on a flexible basis (minimum of 3 days per week, 08:30 am - 15:30 pm).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement bespoke behavioural management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of pupils.
  • Deliver small group or one-to-one interventions to improve engagement, emotional regulation, and resilience.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting strategies as required to ensure positive outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a behavioural management, teaching assistant, or similar role within a primary or educational setting.
  • A sound understanding of behavioural management techniques and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and equality in education.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment.
  • A relevant qualification in education, child development, or behavioural support (desirable but not essential).
  • A valid enhanced DBS check, or willingness to undertake one.
  • Flexibility and reliability to meet the needs of the school's timetable.
