We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a dynamic Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students with a love for history and develop their critical thinking and analytical skills. We are looking for someone to start ASAP.
Duties as History Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to [KS3/KS4/KS5] students
- Teach a broad and balanced curriculum, covering key historical periods and themes
- Encourage critical thinking, debate, and analysis of historical sources
- Prepare students for examinations and coursework assessments
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities, such as history clubs and trips
Ideal History Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Specialism or experience in History or a related subject
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as a History Teacher.
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for history
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
