About the Role:

CKP Recruitment is excited to support our client, a national leader in the transport sector, in finding a skilled Office Administrator to join their team in Stokesley, Middlesbrough. This role is essential to the smooth operation of their busy transport office, assisting with reporting, invoicing, payroll, and customer communications.

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate weekly and daily reports for customers on work completed using Excel.
Process invoices using a Transport Management System (TMS), uploading them to the accounts system.
Communicate with the accounts department to address any invoicing or payment queries.
Contact customers to arrange payments, managing transactions via an online portal.
Handle customer inquiries over the phone and via email, providing clear, professional service.
Coordinate with the transport team on operational matters and scheduling queries.
Assist with payroll by updating driver hours using Convey software.

Advise payroll on overtime, deductions, and other relevant payroll adjustments.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and accounting software is beneficial.
Prior experience in an administrative, finance, or customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to manage customer interactions.
Highly organized with great attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a busy office environment.
