Role Overview:As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality computer science lessons across various year groups. You will play a key role in encouraging students to develop their programming skills, computational thinking, and confidence in technology.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to extracurricular coding clubs and tech-related competitions.
Responsibilities:Planning and delivering engaging computer science lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Encouraging student participation and enthusiasm for programming and computational thinking. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
Organising and overseeing extracurricular coding clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities. Ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Upholding the school’s values and contributing to a positive learning atmosphere.
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the computer science curriculum and wider school initiatives.
