Liverpool Student Homes (LSH) is seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant within the team. This is a full time post based on the University of Liverpool campus. The service acts as the first point of call to support students in finding private sector accommodation in the city.
The service is jointly owned and managed by the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University with association to other stakeholder institutions, which include Hope University, LSTM and LIPA.
Delivering housing support and guidance to all stakeholder institutions our work is varied and broad in terms of delivery. In addition to supporting students, LSH operates a framework for accreditation of properties known as the LSH Standards, private accommodation in the city can apply to become accredited.
The role will provide all overarching administration to support the services delivered. You will be someone who enjoys working face to face with students and other service users, with a can-do attitude to support and resolve queries received.Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to a varied and changing work environment and a strong customer service focus.
Relevant administrative experience commensurate with the role and have a flexible approach to your work environment. The ability to work cohesively within a small team is essential.
You will be required to support internal and external events which may require weekend or out of hours working.
