This full-time post is immediately available on a fixed term contract until 30th September 2026. The postholder will be a member of Exeter Innovation’s Sector Team based in Exeter or Cornwall.

Exeter Innovation is the professional team that supports and drives this critical work.Its key aim is to secure significantly greater value and impact from relationships with partners drawing on the University’s education, research and physical assets. This includes research collaboration, commercial services, new venture development, skills, placements and education partnerships with businesses.
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to support the ambitious expansion of professional and executive education programmes. This new post will be key to identifying prospective corporate clients and working with academic colleagues to develop new products, pitches and proposals.
The role will work closely with the University of Exeter Business School, one of the leading business schools in the UK, one of the 1% of global institutions to hold ‘Triple Crown’ accreditation from the largest and most influential business school accrediting bodies worldwide (AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA), and in 2022 was recognised as Times Higher Education’s Business School of the Year.The School has recently established the Business 2030 programme, through which we have set ambitious goals including for the continued growth of our professional and executive education portfolio.
