We are seeking an exceptional Geography specialist to join our Humanities faculty as Subject Lead of Geography. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher and emerging leader ready to shape the vision for Geography and support the wider success of the faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Staff Development- Support the Faculty Leader in communicating a clear vision for Geography
- Lead by example, promoting the highest professional standards
- Support the development of team members through coaching, observation, and sharing best practice
- Monitor the quality of teaching and learning through lesson observations
- Promote best practice in Humanities teaching across the faculty
- Drive excellent student outcomes across all key stages in Geography
- Set high expectations for teaching and contribute to quality assurance
- Identify underachievement and implement targeted interventions
- Champion Geography through high-quality curricular and extra-curricular opportunities
- Maintain a high standard of behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Celebrate student achievement and promote a culture of success
