An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding and energetic Subject Lead of Geography at Frogmore Community College. We are seeking an exceptional Geography specialist to join our Humanities faculty as Subject Lead of Geography. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher and emerging leader ready to shape the vision for Geography and support the wider success of the faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Staff Development
  • Support the Faculty Leader in communicating a clear vision for Geography
  • Lead by example, promoting the highest professional standards
  • Support the development of team members through coaching, observation, and sharing best practice
  • Monitor the quality of teaching and learning through lesson observations
  • Promote best practice in Humanities teaching across the faculty
Teaching & Learning
  • Drive excellent student outcomes across all key stages in Geography
  • Set high expectations for teaching and contribute to quality assurance
  • Identify underachievement and implement targeted interventions
  • Champion Geography through high-quality curricular and extra-curricular opportunities
  • Maintain a high standard of behaviour and engagement in lessons
  • Celebrate student achievement and promote a culture of success

Quality Assurance & Communications
  • Take part in curriculum review and evaluation activities
