General Science Teacher
This role begins September 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Inspire students to develop a love for scientific discovery and practical experimentation
- Support students in developing investigative and analytical skills
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them improve
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and take part in extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and field trips
Ideal General Science Teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Science at [Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and/or Key Stage 5]
- Are passionate about science and committed to making lessons engaging and accessible
- Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students of all abilities as a General Science Teacher.
- Are committed to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues
