An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Urology management team as Service Manager. The post holder will provide leadership to the administrative teams for the FRA, Stones/Endourology and General Urology sub-specialities in Urology.

The role requires someone who is proactive, has excellent communication skills, willing to take ownership and accountability and able to manage a high-volume workload. The role of Service Manager in Urology will have a strong focus on delivering positive patient experience, supporting the department to achieve key performance targets and take an active role in delivering service improvements.

This is a full-time post working closely alongside a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day service management of their respective Urology sub-specialities, with responsibility for patient access to both inpatient and outpatient care.

The Service Manager will be the initial point of escalation for issues and challenges that arise and will work closely with administrative, clinical and management teams to problem solve and drive forwards service improvements.

This post is key to the delivery of performance targets including activity and workforce within the Division and providing leadership to the administrative teams within Urology to provide a high-quality administrative service to all patients, carers and referring practitioners.
