French Teacher
Sutton Grammar School is seeking to appoint a part-time French teacher. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join one of the top-performing schools in England.
With a track record of outstanding results, the Sutton Grammar School MFL Department is a small team of full and part time staff. You will be joining a supportive and energetic group of capable teachers who work hard to provide a rich curricular and extra-curricular experience for its students.You will be asked for, and can expect to have, input into curriculum design and developing innovative schemes of work across all key stages. In the lower years, the focus in French is very much on promoting a love of the subject as well as starting to develop the academic skills crucial to further study.
We run regular extra-curricular trips and activities. The department organises trips to France, Germany and Spain as an integral part of its programme of study.
We are seeking someone who:
- Is passionate about sharing their knowledge and love of French with our pupils
- Employs a creative approach to developing lessons and collaborates effectively with colleagues
