This role involves managing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the firm's growth.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing significantly to the firm's sustainability and success.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to set budgets, analyse variances/profitability and drive business growth
- Evaluate investment opportunities when appropriate, and support at Board meetings from a financial perspective
- Manage and oversee accounting records and processes, and handle any financial issues and queries from management
- Ensure day-to-day compliance with relevant financial regulations
- Coordinate year-end audit process and plan for upcoming tax liabilities
- Assist in developing long-term financial strategies to meet business objectives
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Director role brings a wealth of experience in financial leadership roles, specifically within Professional Services environments, in addition to:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in financial leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
- Experience with client accounting systems and financial software packages
