Customer Warehouse Assistant
IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome Customer Warehouse Assistants to join our motivated and passionate team. This role is a customer-facing role, where you will be working in our Self-Serve Warehouse - a varied job role that involves warehouse operational tasks and great customer service.
We have one full-time 39-hour a week vacancy, and one part-time 12-hour a week vacancy.
WHAT WE OFFER- The Start Date of employment will be 01 June 2025.
- Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
- For the 39-hour a week contract, this will involve working 5 days over 7 and alternate weekends (1 on, 1 off).
- For the 12-hour vacancy, this will involve working 3 days a week (3 in 4 weekends).
- Earliest shift start times may be 08:00am, and latest shift finishing times may be 20:30pm in the evening.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
You will ideally bring with you previous customer service experience, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves as this is a fast-paced role in our Self-Serve Warehouse where you will be working with customers and also moving stock, ensuring a clean and safe environment in the process.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY- You have a customer first mindset, serving customers in our warehouse, maximising sales, securing stock availability, administrative tasks and ensuring the area is clean, well presented, easy to shop, and ready for the following days' delivery.
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock. Using pump trucks and trolleys to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
- Ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
