Job Title/Location: Pension Scheme Events Associate, Remote

  • Salary: To £30,000
  • Office/WFH: At least 4 office visits per year required
  • Requirements: Strong DB admin knowledge is key, ideally some DC experience as well, but this is not essential. The ability to meet project deadlines with good time management is also important
  • Role Snapshot: Wide-ranging role lending support for all types of activities including benefit statements, pension increases, scheme valuations & other bulk processing exercises

Recent new scheme/business wins are leading to a number of new roles and expansion of current teams.

The Company: An established pensions business, recent industry award winners and recognised for their investment in people, so a good company to develop with long-term. Just under 200 people within the business, including 50 people working remotely (remote working is an option for this post).

The Role: The Pension Scheme Events role will see you providing team support across a range of activities, key responsibilities including:

  • Annual events processing - i.e. pension increases, benefit statements, valuation extracts.
  • Regular or ad-hoc reporting, data loads, bulk mailings & other similar processes/activities.
  • Undertake regular checks of the team’s work for quality & accuracy, providing feedback and support to the team.
  • Train, support & supervise staff to provide effective delivery of a timely & accurate service to customers.
  • Challenge procedures to identify process improvements & deliver improved operational efficiencies.
  • Work with other teams in implementing new clients, system enhancements and efficiencies.
  • Participation in new business exercises, representing the Company to external prospects/clients.

Skills / Experience Required: For this Pension Scheme Events role you must have strong DB administration experience, ideally good DC knowledge, although DC experience is not essential. Strong time management skills are important, to help with meeting project deadlines and attention to detail and accuracy are also key requirements.

Additional Information: Salary for the Pension Scheme Events role is to £30,000 + professional study support and company pension. As mentioned above, you would be required to attend the office at least 4 times per year, including your first day.
