Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic looking to kick start your career into management? Or have you gained some leadership skills in your current position and want to explore this further?

We are currently looking for an experienced Manager or Vehicle Technician who wants to step into management for a well-known Automotive Service business.

• As an Automotive Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside the Centre Manager, to provide productive management and leadership, driving profitability, with firm focus on the customer's journey.
• Ideally you will have had previous hands-on experience as a mechanic as you will be dividing your time between the workshop, working alongside the technicians, and assisting the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service
• Supporting the current centre manager in the day to day running of the garage
• Also assisting in vehicle repairs when very busy or if technicians need assistance
• Communication with customers
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment
• Team player willing to assist in other workshop duties as and when required.

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full driver's licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience / Ability to deliver high customer satisfaction and experience through effect management
• Experience / Ability to deliver coaching/training in moment to colleagues
• Technical/Mechanical ability or experience
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems
