Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Child Support Worker to work with children and young people in Selby. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide emotional and practical support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Your responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to children with emotional, behavioural, or learning challenges
- Assisting students in overcoming social and emotional difficulties to enhance their educational engagement
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support each child's development
- Helping to create and implement individual support plans for students
- Encouraging positive behaviour and building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Supporting students in developing their social and life skills
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational, social care, or similar setting (preferred but not essential)
- A patient, understanding, and empathetic approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- A DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
