Service Manager - Warrington Day Service (Connect Hub)
Overview:
We have an opportunity available for a part time Service Manager to join the team at our Warrington Day Service Connect Hub based in Warrington Cheshire WA2 7JB.
The Hub offers one to one support services for people who may have low level mental health condition, suffer with anxiety or low mood and or be socially isolated. The Hub also offers groups and activities to support clients wellbeing and work in partnership with other organisation to provide advice and information.

Responsibilities:
Are you looking for a role that's both challenging and rewarding, where you can make a real difference in the lives of our service users? the Service Manager, you'll have overall accountability for ensuring the service runs smoothly and safely, while your dedicated team provides the highest standard of care to our service users.
You will manage the day to day delivery of the service, including supervising a small team of Hub Support Workers and Volunteers to ensure that the people accessing the service receive compassionate, strength-based support aimed at improving their overall wellbeing.The service manager will also work closely with the Community Services Manager Services and the Business Development Team to ensure that the offer provided in the Hub meets the needs of commissioners and the local community. Within the hub we also operate a commercial café, Café connect, which offers good food and a place to meet people and connect with the community.
As service manager you will provide support and supervision to the café staff to help the business grow and complement the overall offer for service users accessing the hub.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Level 4 (or equivalent) Diploma in health & social care (or the willingness to work towards in an agreed time- frame) and have previous experience of leading a team and providing mental health support to people who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
Whilst skills are important, our main priority for any new colleague is to find people who share similar values and attitudes to our own.
On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
