About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Policy Impact Manager to join our policy impact team in London at the Modern Slavery and Human Rights Policy and Evidence Centre in the Humanities Division at the University of Oxford.

The Modern Slavery and Human Rights Policy and Evidence Centre (PEC) exists to enhance understanding of modern slavery and transform the effectiveness of law and policies designed to address it. The Centre funds and co-creates high quality research with a focus on policy impact, and brings together academics, policymakers, businesses, civil society and survivors to collaborate on solving this global challenge.

You will play a key role in maximising the impact of the Modern Slavery and Human Rights PEC’s research on laws and policies to address modern slavery, and will work collaboratively with researchers, practitioners, policymakers and law-makers as part of the University of Oxford’s only dedicated Policy and Evidence Centre.

About you

You will have experience of proactively and independently working at the interface of public policy and research, with expertise in issues relating to modern slavery and human rights, and will have a good understanding of policymaking and law-making processes in the UK.

You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly research literate, and have a strong track record of collaboration and teamwork.
