We are looking to recruit an effective and experienced senior information analyst who can join an established team and help to develop informatics support into the business. This is an exciting opportunity to make a mark in a rapidly expanding NHS Foundation Trust.
There are three core aspects to the role:
- To ensure that the Trust and Divisions have access to the necessary data and information to allow them to make decisions in a timely and effective way.
- To coordinate the development and use of data, information and performance management systems.
- To take responsibility for discrete areas of work, such as developing reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence and reporting systems.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of information systems, as well as technical skills using tools such as SQL, Power BI and Excel to develop the Trust’s data analytics and reporting capability. You will ideally be familiar with hospital information systems, as well as being able to demonstrate an understanding of a hospital business in the context of the wider healthcare economy.

To provide analytical support and insight to operational managers, offering guidance on key quality performance areas to support service improvements and process implementation to ensure data collection and validity is consistent across all clinical quality areas.
To highlight trends, identify opportunities and provide options specifically in relation to quality and performance indicators, i.e., Mortality, Infection Control and Patient Experience.
Analyse data and utilise lines of communication with other organisations to optimise opportunities for improvement and assist in the implementation of improvement areas.
