Location: Glasgow (60% Office, 40% field once established)
Remuneration: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus tbc, OTE £35,000- £45,000

The role of the Sales Account Manager - Industrial Roller Shutter Doors will involve:

  • Sales position selling a comprehensive range of industrial roller shutter door products (steel fire doors, high speed doors, sectional doors) and services including; repair and maintenance
  • Focusing on end user projects within numerous markets including: Logistics, Construction, Defense, New Builds, Waste Management, Retail, Manufacturing, Public Sector, Local Authority, Utilities etc.
  • 75% of your time will be spent managing the existing customer portfolio with your remaining time being spent generating new business opportunities
  • Ensure maintenance contracts are renewed and up to date, upselling where possible
  • Produce quotations from survey information for installation & remedial works
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial enquiry to securing the opportunity
  • Develop new business from leads generated by strategic sales campaigns
  • Realistic scope to progress into a field based Business Development position
  • Average order value of £3k however these can range up to £100k

The ideal applicant will be an Sales Account Manager - Industrial Roller Shutter Doors with:

  • Must have at least 3-4+ years proven sales experience working to targets
  • Must be confident going out to visit customers face to face
  • Must have experience pricing orders and generating quotes, would consider an estimator providing they have some sales experience
  • Ideally will have technical or industrial sell experience such as: fixings/fastenings, doors, flooring, manufactured product, ironmongery, HVAC products etc.
  • Incredibly pro-active, driven and motivated
  • Commercial acumen, resilient
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
