Power BI / DAX Analytics / Developer
About the role
The role will be performed within the Reporting & Analytics pillar of the Global Network Operations function, reporting to the Reporting & Analytics Lead. The Reporting & Analytics pillar has strong collaboration between the business and technical teams, driving innovation, an agile mind-set and a hands-on approach to all aspects of analytic application design; business requirements, analytics delivery, implementation, deployment and transition to business as usual service.
You'll be joining our team based in London and this role is ideal for a BI expert.
What your days will look like:
This role will consist of a strong mixture of project delivery and various business as usual tasks within Business Operations to deliver high quality results for our stakeholders.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Explore the Business Operations data and proactively identify opportunities for innovation, and the application of BI and advanced Data Analytics capabilities to deliver data-centric business insights that support business decisions.
- Manage the delivery of Proof of Concept projects and work with the Reporting & Analytics Lead to formulate the business case for any new and innovative products and applications.
- Manage demands and liaise with business stakeholders to verify analytic and insight needs
- Deliver and maintain the standards/principles, and advocate the best practice use of the Self-Service capabilities to ensure the consistency of delivered insights.
- Collaborate with other teams within the organisation and be able to devise the technical solution as it relates to the business & technical requirements
This role is for you if:
- You possess strong experience of BI tools both standard and non-standard
- You possess experience of directly supervising on or off-shore delivery teams or have previously led any complex BI projects
- You have strong knowledge and experience of using open source data to enrich BI and Data Analytics activities
- You have experience working in a global business environment
