Finance Manager
Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with an employee centric, family-ran, SME business in Leicestershire, to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Producing monthly management accounts using the trial balance
- Preparing budgets for departments and the company
- Providing analysis and commentary around the management accounts
- Ensuring all statutory filing requirements are submitted in a timely manner (VAT returns, national statistics, apprenticeship levy, P11Ds)
- Management of the month-end process
- Ensuring that bank transactions are posted daily and accounts are reconciled weekly
- Processing monthly payroll for the three payrolls
- Managing and developing a team of four (credit control, financial accountant, accounts assistant, and purchase ledger)
- Building effective relationships with the board and operational managers
- Deputising for the Finance Director in their absence
The successful Finance Manager will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven line management experience
- Ideally have worked in an SME environment
- End to end Accountant
- Strong Excel skills
As Finance Manager, you will be entitled to the following:
- £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + bonus
