Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality English and Maths GCSE tutoring to students in an outreach capacity
- Develop tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs of students
- Provide regular feedback and progress reports to students and parents/guardians
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance student engagement
- Monitor and assess student performance to track improvement and adjust teaching strategies as needed
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds

Teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience in providing outreach education services
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school or educational setting (learners home or local library)
- Flexible hours based on student needs
- Potential travel to different locations within the East of England
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
