Shaftesbury High School supports 171 pupils aged 11 to 19 all with a range of special educational needs.
Shaftesbury High School is looking to appoint a Teacher of Food Technology from February 24^th or April 2nd 2025.
Shaftesbury High School follows a Secondary timetable model. We are looking to recruit a motivated and inspiring teacher of Food Technology who values making a difference.
We are recruiting a teacher of Food Technology who will:
- provide learning that will make a lasting change to our students.
- Actively engage with students as learners and promote their engagement in learning.
- Prepare students to gain recognised qualifications (Btech Home Cooking Skills)
- Actively value planning and leading enrichment trips locally and further afield.
Our Food Technology Curriculum is ambitious and engaging, with students performing well in examinations.
Our Food Technology curriculum has a real purpose in preparing our students for employability and life. Our curriculum offers students to build their functional skills. We want our students to be able to access future opportunities and participate fully in the school community and the wider community out of school.
