We are looking for dedicated SEN Tutors to join our team, providing tailored support to children with special educational needs in Barking and Dagenham. If you have a passion for working with SEN students and want to make a meaningful impact, this opportunity is for you!

Key Details:

Position: SEN Tutor
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Contract Type: Temporary, Contract
Rate of Pay: Starting from £25 per hour
Hours: Flexible, Part-Time (choose from morning, afternoon, or evening sessions)

What You'll Do:

Provide 1-1 tutoring to primary and secondary-aged children with SEN, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Support students with their academic development, as well as social and emotional progress
Help with exam preparation, homework, and personalised learning plans
Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to help students build confidence and succeed

Requirements:

Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)
Enhanced DBS check

Desirable Qualities:

SEN-specific qualification (e.g. , SENCO, Level 3 Supporting SEN)
