Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Dental Team at Beverley City Health Dental. Your main area of responsibility will be to provide a comprehensive range of NHS Dental and Oral Health care to Adults and Children within the geographical area.You will work in a supported surgery setting, allowing access to referral to a Dental Therapist to support your clinical work, and provide reciprocal support in term of Direct Access. You will work alongside excellent, and experienced nursing support, and have access to further your CPD.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, flexible, and self motivated team member, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being IT software competent. You will support the Clinical Director in Peer reviews, Clinical Audit, and Clinical Governance projects.We are seeking to recruit a committed and motivated Dental practitioner to join our established team and offer access to NHS care to patients residing on our waiting list alongside taking a stable and established list of dental patients. The successful applicant must be fully registered with the General Dental Council, and have completed all relevant Vocational Training, and have a performer number to work within NHS Primary Dental Care.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- A Batchelor of Dental Surgery degree
- GDC registration (applicants must have current UK professional registration)
- Performers number required prior to assuming appointment
Knowledge
Essential criteria- Broad dental knowledge, with up-to-date knowledge of aspects of general practice within your scope of practice
- Knowledge of the GDS contract, terms and conditions, and its role in the delivery of dental care
- Awareness of wider public health issues
- Awareness of the financial framework governing the delivery of oral health care in England and the constraints that might impose on service delivery
Experience
Essential criteria- Demonstrable clinical experience in an NHS practice
- Active in clinical dental practice
- Broad experience in a wide range of treatments
- Delivering education experience
