We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Track Team Leader to join our dynamic AIW team at Pontypridd &ndash Onsite 40 hrs a week
In this role you will assist the Track Supervisor in the inspection maintenance and renewal of P-Way assets according to standards while staying within agreed resource levels and budget The P-Way Team Leader serves as a crucial link between the supervisor and the Permanent Way team ensuring seamless communication and efficient operations
This role offers you the unique opportunity to work on the core valley lines - currently the biggest investment for transport infrastructure in Wales undergoing transformation of the services provided
What Youll Do- Have knowledge and experience in the inspection fault identification maintenance and renewal techniques for P-Way
- Carry out tasks as directed in a safe manner adhering to safe systems of work procedures method statements or other relevant instructions
- Perform and oversee work activities efficiently and safely ensuring compliance with all relevant standards
- Monitor the quality of work performed and confirm that assets meet the required standards
- Ensure that your team possesses the appropriate and valid competencies
- Verify that all vehicles equipment tools and materials are fit for purpose and ensure they are correctly used stored and disposed of
- Accurately report all completed and incomplete work and maintain necessary records
