Kriya is an entrepreneurial and fast moving Fintech looking to scale up its risk analytics capability. The business has helped thousands of small businesses bridge the gap between completing orders and waiting to collect buyer payments. We are now interested in how we evolve our product set to integrate into third party ecosystems, creating an embedded finance offering.Increasingly B2B transactions are going digital and we are very well placed to help various platforms with this transition.
You will be part of a small and highly committed team helping Kriya develop our platform, manage risk and grow our business. This team is central to our product proposition and this role represents an outstanding high profile opportunity for the right candidate to shape our risk management capabilities.
What you'll do- Define build and implement our next generation application stage rules and credit risk models including working in close collaboration with our in-house manual underwriting teams to codify and embed their insights into our automated decisioning processes
- Monitor and manage to credit risk performance and periodic repricing and credit limit management of our existing portfolio of merchants and their SME customers
- Directly influence the minimisation of credit losses through development of collections strategies and both detective and reactive fraud defences
- Regularly collaborate across functions including Operations, Commercial, Business Development and Executive Leadership presenting analytical insights as pragmatic and commercially focused business strategies
- Shape the future requirements of our risk management data model through close collaboration with our Engineering teams
- 3-5 years relevant experience working in the risk analytics function of a consumer / SME finance business
- Experience working with an industry standard cloud based analytical toolkit; ideally MS Azure and PowerBI
- Excellent communication;easily able to articulate complex concepts concisely and in simple terms to both technical and non-technical audiences
- The ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships throughout the organisation
- Strong delivery focus with ability to define structured priorities and goals in a fast paced working environment
- Numerical degree (i.e. mathematics, science, engineering or economics) from a top tier university or equivalent experience
