Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £48-£55 Umbrella
£36.31-£51.53 PAYELocation: Devonport
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- HNC/HND in relevant discipline
- Membership of relevant Engineering Institution
- IOSH managing safely certificate
- Highly regulated industry experience - Preferably Nuclear
Role information:
- Ensure activities are planned, assessed and managed so that risks or hazards are identified and controlled to ensure compliance with processes and regulations
- Organise and obtain sufficient resources to deliver the set out work scope
- Oversee works implementation to ensure it meets the necessary technical and quality standards
- Ensure safe systems of work are produced to ensure work is carried out safely
- Manage and control sub-contractors where needed
- Review and assess training and competency records
- Provide information and statistics reports to demonstrate performance against safety, quality, time and cost requirements
- Carry out workplace inspections
- Report on accidents and unplanned events
