The Role:

As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s IT systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-line IT support to staff and students.
  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of the school’s IT network.
  • Assisting with the setup and maintenance of classroom technology, including interactive whiteboards and projectors.
  • Managing user accounts and resolving access issues.
  • Supporting the IT Manager in the implementation of new systems and projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A good understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software.
  • Experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and flexible attitude towards work.
  • Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities in a school environment.
