Reporting to the Internal Preparation Centre Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to day running of the Centre, supervising the workshop and office team. A fact paced and dynamic environment with a continued focus on reducing the time to market used vehicles.
Key activities will include: Vehicle Preparation- Helping drive vehicle preparation processes and efficiencies to achieve optimal speed to market.
- Assessing areas of vehicle cosmetic preparation.
- Communicating effectively with suppliers and internal Sales Management.
- Supporting management of the productive workshop activities.
- Securing arrangements with external providers in support of vehicle preparation.
- Source, price and order parts (inc tyres) in line with preparation requirements.
- Maintain and monitor parts stock accurately at all times.
- Effectively navigate the Keyloop POS module, including parts, labour and invoicing responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with business standards and processes, financial, legal, warranty and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment for the team.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and promptly by yourself and the team.
- Encourage a positive and competitive team mindset.
- Maintain a smart appearance at all times, and conduct business with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
In order to be successful within the Preparation Centre Supervisor position, you should:
- Have a good level of Keyloop POS competence.
- Maintain a high level of self-motivation.
- Understand the importance of process & be able to coach others into adopting processes.
- Have experience in a pressurised logistical environment.
- Be able to analyse situations & provide spontaneous direction.
- Training will be provided.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
