What You'll Do:
As an Environment Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of essential environmental goals across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to produce and review engaging environmental training programmes.
- Policy Development: Help develop policies and standards to uphold ISO14001 certification, ensuring our client meets its environmental commitments.
- Engagement: Collaborate with staff and contractors to assess compliance with environmental policies and promote best practises.
- Awareness Campaigns: Conduct coaching sessions, awareness campaigns, and site visits to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
- Incident Management: Provide guidance and support for environmental incidents, including classification and thorough investigations.
What You Bring:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
- Degree qualified in the environmental field.
- A strong understanding of environmental policies and ISO14001 certification requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with staff and contractors.
- The ability to conduct impactful environmental training and awareness initiatives.
- Experience in incident classification, investigation, and review processes.
- Proficiency in assessing compliance with environmental standards and policies.
