An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and qualified English Teacher to join a specialist provision in Bournemouth that supports young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Working with students aged 12 to 16, you will be part of a therapeutic and nurturing environment where academic progress goes hand in hand with emotional development.
This setting offers a structured, personalised learning experience that encourages each student to re-engage with education at their own pace. The full-time salary for this role ranges from £31,650 to £43,607 per year, with part-time pay calculated on a pro-rata basis, ensuring fair compensation for your hours worked.
What You'll Be Doing- Planning and delivering engaging, accessible English lessons tailored to individual needs
- Supporting students with SEMH challenges in their academic and personal development
- Creating a calm, consistent classroom environment that promotes trust and respect
- Collaborating with support staff and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach
- QTS-qualified English Teacher with experience or interest in SEN/SEMH education
