SFT is an acute Trust, rated “Good” by the CQC, with a track record of high performance, providing regional and super regional specialist services such as: Burns, Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery, Wessex Regional Genetics Laboratory, Wessex Rehabilitation, Spires Cleft Centre and the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre.We have approximately 470 beds and employ over 4,000 staff.
STARS is the name of our Charitable Fund at SFT and it supports the extraordinary work happening across the Trust. As such, you’ll be a dedicated representative of both STARS and Salisbury Foundation Trust and will exhibit a dedicated committed to transforming patient care through applying a business-minded and innovative approach towards driving the development of the charity.
The responsibilities of the role encompass overseeing all aspects of the charity's operations, with a focus on income generation and leading on fundraising. Another key focus of the role will be driving donor-centric partnerships and providing exceptional supporter experiences while bolstering exceptional stakeholder relationships.
You’ll need to be confident to operate independently, manage the departmental function, interpret organisational policies and demonstrate compliance with all legal frameworks. In addition, you’ll ensure that charitable business practices, operational functions and cultural standards are, encouraged, maintained and enforced across the team and the organisation.
Salisbury is an attractive place to live and work and with easy access to London and local airports; the city of Southampton is only a short train or car journey away or if you prefer the sea, Bournemouth is also very accessible.
