Group Management Accountant

Robert Half are recruiting for a 6 month FTC the role is for a Management Accountant and it is based in Central Birmingham.

The Role:

• Production of monthly accounts
• Manage Ledger systems, particular SAGE and have a good understanding of creation of reports and liaise with SAGE direct as troubleshooter
• A good understanding of Balance Sheet Account accounting, particularly Accruals and Prepayments and reconciliation and timely reports.
• Ensure reporting and payments of Corporation tax, VAT and Government Agencies are paid to strict deadlines without penalty.
• Ensure adequate controls are in place for the timely and accurate management of supplier invoices, payments and clearing open balances.
• Assist with the oversight of cash balances and upcoming payments to ensure sufficient liquidity.

The Person:

• Maximum a 2 week notice
• Happy to work in Central Birmingham
• Previous experience in Professional Services
