You will have full overall responsibility for the delivery of all the managed legal services across both teams including an evolving range of products, services and work types, whilst ensuring high performance through efficient people and resource management, as well as effective implementation of legal technology solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for and oversee day to day operational governance and delivery of services across the UK Delivery Centre and Lender Services teams ensuring high operational and financial performance.
  • Support the Operations Delivery Director with the creation and development of departmental objectives and strategic growth plans, ensuring alignment to wider business goals.
  • Ensure effective work allocation and efficient resource management across both teams, including forecasting growth and recruitment needs.
  • Manage risk and champion business excellence across the teams working closely with DWFs compliance team to identify and implement business change as a result of regulatory, statutory or economically driven needs and internal/client audits.
  • To embed quality and client service standards ensuring activities are completed in line with service level agreements and best practice, continually assessing the client's needs and revising service provisions where required.
  • Responsible for the delivery of new products, services and work types and embedding these as BAU with appropriate quality metric tracking.
  • Support the transition of new work streams into the UK Delivery Centre by re-designing working processes in order to ensure technology is used to deliver best value.
  • Drive effective performance management and training of the teams resulting in high levels of engagement and retention.

What will help you succeed in this role? :

  • Demonstrable experience of motivating and leading a successful operations team.
  • Extensive people management and resource management experience, with the ability to coach, give feedback and performance manage others to get the best out of them.
  • Experience of undertaking quality checks and reporting on quality metrics.
  • Experience of supporting the implementation of legal technology solutions within a legal operations environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • The ability to identify risks and issues, and put mitigating actions in place.
  • Excellent attention to detail to be able to carefully analyse files and data
  • The ability to build effective professional relationships both with external clients and internal colleagues.
  • Ability to leverage your understanding of the Business’ strategic direction (products, service lines, sectors) and our Clients' needs (markets, sectors, risks) to inform and drive performance.
