About Our Client

• Oversee and manage financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations.
• Analyse financial data and create financial reports for decision-making purposes.
• Implement best practices in accounting and reporting.
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Support the accounting team in daily tasks and duties.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA)
• Proficiency in accounting software and excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A competitive salary range of £25,000 - £40,000 DOE
• Hybrid working model with 2 days a week working from home.
• 20 days holiday plus 3 for Christmas close down, plus bank holidays.
• 2 social events per year.
