As the first point of contact for residents, you’ll provide exceptional advice and support across a range of council services, including Council Tax, Waste, Benefits, Highways and Transport, Planning, and Licensing. This is a busy and rewarding role where you’ll assist customers face-to-face in our Bridgwater office, as well as through telephony and online digital support, helping residents navigate services with ease. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional front-line customer service, handling high volumes of enquiries with professionalism and empathy.Provide advice and assistance on a wide variety of council services.
Promote and support digital solutions, encouraging customers to self-serve where possible.
Accurately log and manage customer interactions using multiple IT systems.

Confidence and resilience to handle sensitive and emotive interactions.
Solid computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
