Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Provide tailored support to children with a variety of complex needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with a team of professionals to implement educational and behavioural plans.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that accommodates the individual needs of each child.
- Assist with the development and delivery of interactive learning activities.
- Support the social and emotional development of pupils, helping them to build confidence and independence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with transferable skills.
- A strong desire to go above and beyond for children with special educational needs.
- Must possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, children, and parents.
- A resilient and patient approach, with a commitment to providing a positive learning experience.
