Job overview
We are looking for a proactive, friendly and enthusiastic new colleague to join our friendly team of Medical Secretaries in the ENT Department at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. We currently have a fixed term maternity leave cover role available with opportunities to work flexibly.You will be a key part of our administrative team and will provide comprehensive secretarial support to the ENT Services as well as general administrative support to the specialty.
Main duties of the job
To provide full comprehensive medical support to the ENT Directorate.
To provide a central point of communication for patients and staff.

Experience
Essential criteria- Knowledge & previous experience of working in the NHS or similar patient focused environment
- Able to demonstrate good computer, literacy and admin skills
- Educated to GCSE level
- Minimum of 1 year in a secretarial role
- Medical Secretarial qualifications or experience
- Knowledge of NHS systems, Millennium etc
