Initially Part Time (two days a week but possibility to increase over time)
Responsible to:Teaching and Learning Lead, Assistant Headteacher Teaching and Learning
We are looking to recruit a part-time Secondary Art Teacher to join our team of dynamic, compassionate, innovative and inspiring people who all share the same vision for the success of our children.
The successful candidate will have a broad skills base, and be passionate and skilled in teaching in multiple medias, approaches and techniques.
The role involves teaching a skills based curriculum to Key Stage 3 pupils building up to them beginning their GCSE course.
The role will involve working in partnership with our amazing Art teacher who has helped to make Art a popular, integral and much valued curriculum area.

The successful candidate could be an Early Career Teacher or someone who has already experience working in a mainstream or special school setting. You will need a strong commitment to working with pupils with SEND and be very understanding and empathic.
An ability to be flexible in your teaching style and reflective of your practice is vital.
