Teaching Personnel are on the hunt for an experienced Art Teacher interested in a part-time Teaching vacancy at a local Secondary School in Bedford.- Location: Bedford
- Start date: Flexible
- Contract: Part-time 0.6 (3 days per week - flexible which days) on a Temp to Perm or Permanent basis
- Pay: MPS1 - MPS6, UPS 1 -3: Contract would pay weekly during probation on a daily rate equivalent to salary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Art Teacher looking for a new challenge. This is a permanent but part-time teaching position on offer to a Teacher of Art looking to work 3 days per week. The school are open to applications from Art Teachers who are happy to fulfill a 0.6 teaching post and they are open to discussing which 3 days would be best suited to you.
As an Art Teacher, you would have allocated classes across Year 7 up to Year 13, following the curriculum plan as follows; Year 7 INTRODUCE > Year 8 DEVELOP > Year 9 EMBED > Year 10 SECURE > Year 11 MASTER.
You will have full teaching responsibilities and inspire students creativity that results in their assessments and exams.
Could this be you? Do you demonstrate:
- Passion for Art and imparting your knowledge on the younger generation
- PGCE Qualification specialising in Art or related-subject
- Excellent knowledge of GCSE and A Level Art syllabus
- Excellent understanding of teaching Secondary age pupils
- A 'can do' and positive attitude to inspire pupils
- An ability to motivate and inspire, whilst using your own initiative
- Willingness to learn and support others
- Patient and friendly attitude
- High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence.
