Interim Finance Manager
Robert Half have exclusively partnered with a long-term client and one of Bath's leading employers within their sector to recruit an interim Finance Manager.
This role has been created due to recent changes within the team.
Duration: 4 months + (Potential to go permanent if both parties are happy, no requirement to do so)Start date: Immediately
Working pattern: 2 days in office, 3 remote (Can work in the office more if suitable for you.)
Daily rate: Up to £400 per day via umbrella (Dependent on experience)
You will be responsible for:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end production of management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting of project revenue and costs for the unit.
- Manage the finance team in the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts. (Team of 3)
- Prepare and consolidate monthly reporting packs.
- Review and challenge financial risks and opportunities across the project work.
- Work collaboratively with the Project Ops team.
- Present financial analysis and KPIs to senior stakeholders, delivering value-added advice and support.
- Prepare month-end reports showing a consolidated position for senior stakeholders.
- Provide financial and commercial decision-making support department heads.
- Identify areas for process improvements.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have:
- Recent and relevant experience with management accounts, exposure to project accounting and engagement with senior stakeholders
- Qualified (ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Team management experience.
