Job Title: Maths Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £30 Per hour.
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students in Mathematics.
- Create lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of each student.
- Assist students in understanding complex mathematical concepts.
- Help students improve their problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
- Monitor and assess student progress to adjust tutoring methods as needed.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers regarding student progress.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics.
Education:
Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the learning style of each student.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education.
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, temporary position.
- Work may be conducted in-person or remotely.
- Flexible schedule based on student availability.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
